The sides of the triangle MK = 12 cm; КP = 18 cm; angle MКP = 30 °; MH is the height drawn to the side of the KP;
Triangle area MKP:
S = 1/2 * KP * MH;
In a triangle MKH, MH is a leg lying opposite an angle of 30 °, MK is a hypotenuse, which means MH = 1/2 MK;
MH = 1/2 * 12 = 6 (cm);
S = 1/2 * 18 * 6 = 54 (cm²).
