The significance of the Napoleonic conquests.

The Napoleonic wars were fought to conquer foreign territories and plunder other peoples. On the one hand, they have made enormous human sacrifices. Napoleon imposed high tariffs on the defeated countries, thus ravaging and destroying their economies. On the other hand, as a result of the struggle between the old and the new, a new historical development took place, a new bourgeois order was introduced. The bourgeois empire pushed the feudal countries of Europe to a new path of capitalist development, the feudal order was partially destroyed, and new laws were established.
