The Great French Revolution became an incredibly important and significant event for the era of modern times. She changed not only the national history of France, but also of Europe as a whole. It gave the opportunity for the capitalist development of France and set an example for other states, influenced the ideology of the European continent. Thanks to this revolution, it actually stands out as a full-fledged concept of “nation”. The French Revolution changed the political system of the state – the absolute monarchy was overthrown, a republican regime was established, although later this was canceled out for some time by Napoleon Bonaparte with his policy.
