Let’s find the speed at which the pedestrian is moving.
In the condition of the problem it is said that the speed at which the plane flies is 860 km / h, and the speed of the pedestrian is 215 times less than the speed of the plane, therefore, the speed at which the pedestrian moves is:
860/215 = 4 km / h.
We find how long it takes a pedestrian to cover a distance of 8 km:
8/4 = 2 hours.
We find how far the plane will fly in two hours:
