The structure and functions of the cell nucleus.

The nucleus is the main and largest organelle of the cell. The contents of the nucleus are separated from the rest of the cell by a double membrane that selectively permits substances. Inside there are nuclear juice, nucleoli (ribosomes are formed in them), and chromosomes.
The nucleus stores hereditary information, controls the vital activity of the cell, and also participates in the regeneration of cell parts.
