A parallelogram is a quadrilateral in which opposite sides are equal and parallel. A parallelogram has opposite angles. The sum of all the angles of a parallelogram is 360 °. The sum of two obtuse angles is known from the problem statement.
1. Let’s define the degree measure of one obtuse angle of the parallelogram.
240/2 = 120 °.
2. Find what the degree measure of the acute angle of the parallelogram is equal to.
(360 – 120 * 2) / 2 = (360 – 240) / 2 = 120/2 = 60 °.
Answer: The angles of the parallelogram are: 60 °, 60 °, 120 °, 120 °.
