The territory of which modern state was part of the Arab Caliphate?

The Arab Caliphate at the time of its maximum power at the end of the seventh – in the first half of the eighth centuries included about twenty modern states. Among them are all the current countries of the Arabian Peninsula (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, etc.), Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and some other states in Asia. Also, the composition of the Caliphate included, in whole or in part, such African and European countries as Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Tunisia, etc.
