The two angles of the triangle are 30 and 50 degrees. Find the ratio of the angles by which the height divides the third corner of the triangle.

When you draw the height from the third corner, 2 right-angled triangles will be formed.
Let us determine what the unknown angle in the first resulting triangle will be, if from the condition of our problem we know for sure that the known acute angle in it is 30 °:
90 – 30 = 60.
Let us determine what the unknown angle in the other resulting triangle will be equal to, if from the condition of our problem we know for sure that the known acute angle in it is 50 °:
90 – 50 = 40.
Let’s find out the ratio:
40: 60 = 2: 3.
Answer: 2: 3.
