The whiteness of paints can be assessed using the physical albedo. Which white paint has the highest albedo?

The word “albedo” came to us from the Latin language, where it meant “whiteness”. Albedo is a quantity that characterizes the ability of a surface to reflect a ray of light that falls on it. To find out the albedo value, it is necessary to find the ratio of the reflected flux to the incident flux. The highest albedo is in barium sulfate (barite white), namely 99%. Zinc white has a slightly lower albedo – 94%. Lead white has an albedo of 93%.
