| Before starting to solve this problem, let’s remember what the perimeter of the rectangle is. This is a sum of all its lengths, and these are two widths and two lengths of a rectangle. Thus, if we know the perimeter of the rectangle and its width, we can easily find out its length. To do this, you must perform the following action:
16 – (3 + 3) = 10 cm – the sum of two lengths.
In order to find out the length of one side of it, you need
10 ÷ 2 = 5 cm.
Thus, the length of the rectangle is 5 cm.
