| 1) Determine how many centimeters are the sum of the length and width of the rectangle.
We divide the given perimeter into 2 equal parts.
44/2 = 22 cm.

To do this, subtract the known width of the rectangle from the found sum of the sides.
22 – 6 = 16 cm.

Thus, we get:
