| First, find the width of the given rectangle.
Since it is half the length, for this we multiply 20 cm by 1/2 part.
We get:
20 * 1/2 = 20/2 = 10 cm.
To find the area of a rectangle, multiply the length of the shape by the width of the rectangle.
As a result, we get:
20 * 10 = 200 cm2
The perimeter of the rectangle will be:
20 + 10 + 20 + 10 = 40 + 20 = 60 cm.
Or:
2 * (20 + 10) = 2 * 30 = 60 cm.
Answer: The area of the rectangle is 200 cm2
