The width of the rectangular parallelepiped is 3 cm, the height is 2 cm, the area of the front

The width of the rectangular parallelepiped is 3 cm, the height is 2 cm, the area of the front face is 12 cm2. We calculated its volume and the area of the other faces.

The area of the first face = 12 cm².
Let’s calculate the area of the second face using the formula: S = a * b, where a is the width of the rectangular parallelepiped, b is the height of the rectangular parallelepiped.
The area of the second face: 3 * 2 = 6 cm².
To calculate the third face, we do not have enough of its length.
Find the length of the third face from the area of the first: 12 = 2 * b.
b = 12/2 = 6 cm.
The area of the third face: 6 * 3 = 18 cm².
As you know, the volume of a rectangular parallelepiped is found by the formula: V = a * b * c.
Substitute all known values into the formula and find the volume: V = 3 * 2 * 6 = 36 cm3.
