Think about what caused the events of St. Bartholomew’s Night, who do you blame for these actions?

St. Bartholomew’s Night – the mass murder of the Huguenots in France, organized by Catholics on the night of August 24, 1572, on the eve of St. Bartholomew’s Day. About 30 thousand people were killed.
St. Bartholomew’s Night was provoked by Catherine de Medici on the advice of her advisers. It was a kind of revenge for the fact that the Medici had to make concessions to the Protestants – the Huguenots. The Parisian population hated the Huguenots, which was the main reason for the massacres and robberies. Perhaps the Medici did not want such a massacre, but this very hatred of the Parisians affected it. The bodies of the dead Huguenots were stripped, took away everything of value that was possible.
