Three such versatile triangles were made from wooden sticks. In each of them, the larger side was painted blue, and the smaller side yellow. From the blue sticks, they made one triangle, and from the yellow ones – the second. Will these triangles be similar?

Let’s denote the sides of the first triangle by a1, b1, c1. Let side a1 be yellow and side c1 blue. Let’s call the sides of two other triangles similarly (a2, b2, c2, a3, b3, c3). Triangles are similar if the aspect ratio of their sides is the same. => a1 / a2 = c1 / c2; a1 / a3 = c1 / c3 => a1 / c1 = a2 / c2 = a3 / c3 => the yellow triangle is like blue.
