Time of settlement by the Slavs of Eastern Europe.

Historians suggest that the process of the development of Eastern Europe by the Slavs began in the 1st millennium BC. The Slavs most likely migrated here from the lands of Central Europe. V-VII centuries BC e. considered the peak of the settlement of the Slavs in these territories. The eastern group of Slavs was the most numerous and subsequently began to conquer the East European Plain. This happened during the 5th – 6th centuries of the new era.
