Traits and similarities / traits and differences between shrubs and trees?

The plant world has several life forms, these are trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. The similarity between trees and shrubs is that they both have a similar structure and function. For example, both varieties of plants have a root, trunk, leaves. They also synthesize oxygen during the daytime, make glucose at night and absorb carbon dioxide. Both forms feed on minerals extracted from the soil. The main difference is that shrubs have multiple trunks, while a tree has only one.
