1) A triangle is a closed polyline, consisting of three links, and a part of the plane bounded by it. The perimeter of a triangle is the sum of the lengths of all sides.
2) P = a + b + c.
3) We are looking for the perimeter of the triangle ABC: P = AB + BC + CA = 3 + 4 + 5 = 12 cm.
4) By the condition of the problem, triangle ABC is equal to triangle DEP, hence the perimeters of the triangles are equal. And the perimeter of DEP is also 12 cm.
Answer: P = 12 cm.
