Two copper bars have the same temperature, but the mass of one is 1 kg, and the other is 0.5 kg. Which of the two given bars has more internal energy? Why?

The internal energy of any body can be represented as the sum of all the energies of motion and interaction of particles that make up the body in question. By itself, the internal energy of any body will depend on its state of aggregation (a copper bar is a solid), temperature (the temperature of the bars is the same) and mass (the greater the mass, the greater the internal energy; the mass of the first bar is 1 kg, the second is 0, 5 kg). Consequently, the first bar has more internal energy.
