Two identical rectangles are attached to each other with large sides so that you get a square. The perimeter of this square is 40 cm. Find the perimeter of the rectangle.
Let’s calculate the side of the square:
40: 4 = 10 cm.
Since the two smaller sides of the rectangle represent the side of the square, the side is equal to:
10: 2 = 5 cm,
