Two motor boats left the two piers at the same time towards each other. The speed of the first motor boat is 22 km / h, the speed of the second one is 3 km / h more. The boats met after 4 hours. What is the distance between the marinas?

1. Let’s find the path that the first boat covered before meeting the second one by multiplying the time it took before the meeting by its speed:
Path 1 = 22 * 4 = 88 km.
2. Let’s find the speed of the second boat, if it is known that it is 3 km / h more than the speed of the first boat:
22 + 3 = 25 km / h.
3. Find the path of the second boat by multiplying the time spent before the meeting by the speed:
25 * 4 = 100 km.
