First, let’s remember what mushrooms are. Mushrooms are a kingdom that has the characteristics of plants and animals.

Food
They feed on mineral and organic substances. But organic substances, unlike mineral ones, are used ready-made. Mushrooms absorb all food through the entire surface of the body, because large parts of the food are not absorbed. Some fungi are parasites, that is, they feed on living organisms.

Reproduction
There are several ways to breed mushrooms.

1. Method. Vegetative reproduction.

2. Method. Asexual reproduction
In lower fungi, it occurs with the help of endogenous spores.
In higher fungi (and some exceptions) it occurs with the help of exogenous spores.

3. Method. Sexual reproduction
It occurs by the fusion of haploid gametes by isogamy, anisogamy or oogamy.
