There are many types of malware. Viruses, worms, trojans, keyloggers, rootkits, banners. Each of these programs has its own algorithm of work. The most common are Trojans (the user himself downloads the virus under the guise of the desired program), keyloggers (read key combinations), banners (block access to the computer and desktop). Different antivirus software modules are needed to fight different viruses.
