Social relationships are divided according to:

1. By power: relations horizontally (relations between employees) and vertically (relations between an employee and a boss)

2. By regulation: formal (relations between a bank employee and a client) and informal (relations between friends, relatives)

3. By the way of communication: impersonal (not a person-to-person relationship, but roles with a role) and interpersonal (person-to-person relationship)

4. In fairness: fair and unfair.
