The formation of the spiritual and moral image of the Russian person was greatly influenced by such a phenomenon as communality. Even before the adoption of Christianity, it was decided to resolve all issues jointly, therefore, collective opinion has always been in the first place for the inhabitants of Russia. After the emergence of one official religion in the country, the situation has not changed. Christianity with its principle of “conciliarity”, ie. compatibility, called for adhering to generally accepted ideals and not being different from the rest. This is what had a special impact on the mentality of the Russian people.
