The sum of two numbers will be equal to one of them only in one single case: one or two terms at once are equal to zero.
Many examples can be given to prove that this rule does not depend on the naturalness, integrity, divisibility of the number.
For example,
49 + 0 = 49;
3/4 + 0 = 3/4;
-48 + 0 = -48
