Using the map in the atlas, describe the distribution of the population in Australia. Is there a relationship between the natural features of the country and the location of its population? how does it manifest itself?

The characteristics of the distribution of the population of Australia can be broken down into 7 points:
1) uneven;
2) large cities are located along rivers, as they are provided with drinking water and river transport becomes available
3) most people live on the Pacific coast (Tasman Sea and Coral Sea) and the southeast coast;
4) the first settlers were landed on the western coast, since the most convenient natural bays are located here and storms do not occur (Great Barrier Reef);
5) in the landscape, the coast is mostly flat, which facilitates the construction of dwellings;
6) in the center of the continent there are deserts where there is no water, fertile land and strong winds prevail;
