The highest population density in China is in the west and south. The proximity of the Pacific Ocean affects the west. It is there that there are many industrial enterprises and business centers. In the south, there is a favorable climate and, again, there is access to the sea. In the north, near Mongolia and in Tibet, an unfavorable climate (low temperatures in winter, undeveloped infrastructure), and therefore the population density is low.
