Using the materials of the lesson, make up the formulas of substances by their names: Sulfur (IV) chloride

Using the materials of the lesson, make up the formulas of substances by their names: Sulfur (IV) chloride, Carbon sulfide, and then calculate the relative molecular weights of substances by their chemical formulas.

Chloride is a binary compound of elements with chlorine (Cl), where it has an oxidation state of -1;
Sulfur (IV) chloride – SCl4;
Mr (SCl4) = Ar (S) + Ar (Cl) * 4 = 32 + 4 * 35.5 = 174 g / mol.
Sulfide is a binary compound of elements with sulfur (S), where it has an oxidation state of −2;
Carbon sulfide – CS2;
Mr (CS2) = Ar (C) + Ar (S) * 2 = 12 + 2 * 32 = 76 g / mol.
