Was the culture of Assyrians and Babylon similar?

Mesopotamia was inhabited by similar Semitic tribes who historically spoke similar languages based on Akkadian. Later, due to the migrations of the conquered peoples, the Aramaic language also spread everywhere. Therefore, the peoples easily exchanged their achievements and religious beliefs. Babylon has long been considered the cultural center of the region. And the noble Assyrians even began to adopt the customs of the Babylonians and culture, gradually joining it. Therefore, if there were differences, then they were insignificant, and the culture was common.
