Was there a relationship between climate and occupation in ancient Greece?

Such a connection necessarily exists for any part of our planet and any country. Grapes will not grow on permafrost, and polar bears cannot be hunted in the tropics. Greece’s climate is not homogeneous, but much of the country has a Mediterranean climate. It helps to cultivate grapes and olives. Thanks to grapes, winemaking flourished. Olives were eaten and made into olive oil. The Greeks also cultivated grain crops. Greece was washed by the seas and fishing flourished. For this reason, the Greeks have learned to build and warships of excellent quality. In the warmer regions of Greece, people did not spend much time fighting natural phenomena. Cities were easily built there, art and philosophy flourished.
