Was there any turmoil in Japan in the 16-18 centuries?

Given that Japan was a closed country, the close acquaintance with European culture and religion in itself was a significant shock for her.
The first officially recorded representatives of Europe landed on the island of Tanegashima in 1543. Soon, all over Japan, the production of firearms was organized based on samples imported by Europeans. And in 1549, the Japanese first learned about the Christian religion.
1570 is notable for the major victories of Oda Nobunaga, the leader of the supporters of the unification of Japan. The shogun, help from Christianity, and firearms helped him take over the center of the Japanese archipelago in a decade. But he did not manage to complete the unification and restore the country’s economy – he died in 1582. The successor of the case was his colleague and submitted – Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It was he who led the revived Japan in 1590. He also destroyed private ownership of land, distributed it to the peasants and obliged them to pay tax to the state. And also, according to his decree, there was a clear division of the population into military and civilians (weapons were seized from the latter).
