Was there money during the time of Tutankhamun in ancient Egypt?

There was no money in Ancient Egypt during the time of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. They appeared much later in circulation.

The measure of all that was valuable in Egypt was grain. They bought everything they needed with it. We would now call such a barter system. Taxes to the treasury came in grain, and Pharaoh paid for the work of his servants with it.
