Was there patriotism among the primitive hunters and gatherers who wandered across the vast expanses of the earth in search of food?

Patriotism is a sense of belonging to one’s own people, one’s own country. Patriots consider their state the most suitable for living, they try with all their might to improve the situation in their country: culture, morality, prosperity of people, nature conservation, and the like. In addition, patriots propagandize their activities. That is, they ask others to do the same: protect resources and raise the standard of living. Primitive hunters did not have a separate state. They lived in a community only because they were distant relatives and spoke the same dialect. The country must have a name, borders, anthem, emblem, flag, laws. Hunter-gatherers had nothing like this. And since they wandered the earth, they did not have a permanent place of residence. So you can’t call them patriots. Perhaps they felt a sense of patriotism about their family – they always carried collected berries and killed animals to the house for the family to eat. But it is doubtful that the word “patriotism” then existed at all.
