Washington Versailles system pros and cons.

The Versailles-Washington system of world law and order was essential after the bloody massacre of the Great War. The creation of the organs of the League of Nations and the regulation of peaceful relations between states in Europe created the illusion of control over the events on the part of some of the victorious countries. The downside of this system was the absence in it of such important countries as Soviet Russia (since 1922 the USSR) and Germany’s failure to comply with the terms of surrender. The conclusion of the Rappal Treaty between these countries made it possible to bring them out of international isolation.
