Water absorption by plant tissues.

The plant is able to absorb water and minerals dissolved in it. This function is performed by the root system. Due to root pressure, water is absorbed but does not leave the root cells. Moreover, due to the difference in pressure and various complex processes, water is able to rise through the conducting vessels of the plant. Water travels through the cells by diffusion. This is when one substance can pass through another without disturbing the ego structure. In this case, it is water and cell membrane walls.
