Were the Eastern Slavs really the first to populate Eastern Europe?

Before the Eastern Slavs, the Sarmatians lived on this land, before them the Scythians lived here. Before their appearance, tribes of different ancient cultures lived here, including the Trypillian and Chernyakhov ones. Also here in the intermediate periods lived the tribes of the Goths, Vandals, Huns, etc. Only in the 6th century, the Slavs were able to establish themselves in these territories and dominate here.
