What abilities and interests are you pursuing through compulsory and optional activities? What difficulties can you face in realizing your abilities and interests, what would you advise your peers to overcome these difficulties?

The difficulties that can arise are frustrating as in most cases the first results will not be very satisfying. You need determination and perseverance.
