Under Peter 1, time was devoted to education and public education. Under him, the first Russian Academy of Sciences was created. Scientists from Europe were invited there for scientific work. This was done in order to be able to train new specialists on the spot, since there was a shortage of personnel in Russia. As a result, prominent scientists began to leave the Academy, the first of them was Lomonosov. Also, museums began to open in Russia where collections brought from abroad were collected.
