What allowed the Assyrians to create a world power, because of what did it die?

Assyria is one of the most ancient states that has existed for almost two millennia. The small state based on the lands of Mesopotamia became the first world empire thanks to its aggressive policy. The empire was ruled by the harsh rule of the ruler and the disobedience of the enslaved people was severely punished. A large disciplined army, the introduction of cavalry and the improvement of chariots were important factors in numerous conquests.
The huge empire with distant provinces was difficult to keep under control. The provinces rebelled and made the Assyrian conquests unstable. Palace feuds for power led to civil wars. All this led to the decline and disintegration of the Assyrian Empire.
