What ancient countries can be attributed to the civilizations of the great rivers?

Almost all state formations of antiquity were formed in river valleys. These include countries such as:

1. Ancient Egypt in northwest Africa off the banks of the Nile;
2. Akkad and Sumer, which occupied the territory between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers;
3. State of the ancient Hindus on the banks of the Indus;
4. Ancient Chinese state in the Yellow River Valley.
These countries, thanks to the rivers, had a well-developed agriculture and a sedentary population, they were also economically dependent on the great rivers and their high flow.
