What animals live in forests?

Forests are home to many species of animals. For example, in the forests of the northern hemisphere, the usual inhabitants are bears, wolves, deer, etc. Monkeys live in many southern forests (in the African jungle – chimpanzees and gorillas, in the Asian ones – orangutans, etc.). There are also elephants, forest rhinos, and among the predators – leopard, fossa. In the South American jungle you can find such interesting animals as sloths, tapirs, jaguars, and in Madagascar – lemurs and many species of birds.
