What animals live in hard-leaved forests?

Stiff-leaved forests are subtropical and are found in Australia, on the Mediterranean coast, in the Western regions of Africa. Almost all animals that live in hard-leaved forests are also found in temperate and tropical climates. Both predatory animals and herbivores live in these forests, and there are also a lot of rodents. Hoofed animals can descend from the mountains much less often. In Australia, the koala lives in eucalyptus forests.
