What animals live in North America?

On the mainland of North America, due to the presence of a large number of natural zones, a diverse fauna. If you go from north to south, in the tundra you can find a polar bear, a polar wolf and a hare, as well as a reindeer; a rare animal, a musk ox, lives in Canada. The taiga of North America is represented by the moose, various fur-bearing animals: weasel, marten, otter, mink; rodents: beaver and muskrat; as well as predators: brown bears, lynxes and wolves. Mixed and deciduous forests are inhabited by a representative of marsupial rats – possum, Virginia deer, marmots and hamsters. The plains of North America are represented by bison, coyotes and pronghorn antelope, mountain goats and grizzly bears can be seen in the mountains. In the southeastern part of the continent, there are rare and amazing animals – alligators.
