What appeared earlier was a spiritual need or a material technique? and why?

Man is both a biological and a social being. It is generated by nature, which means that it needs to satisfy first physiological needs. For this he needs primary funds. Initially, a person relies on material needs, since without them it is impossible to ensure his life. Everyone needs food, sleep, clothing. Spiritual needs in this case follow after material ones. Satisfaction of the need for communication, self-realization and knowledge of the world is also important.
