Not everyone knows that the crust of our planet is constantly in motion, this is a process invisible to us. However, we can understand that the lithospheric plates were displaced by the arising shocks, which are usually called earthquakes. Several thousand earthquakes occur on Earth every year, all of which occur in places where plates border each other. Sometimes the slabs seem to break the ground, coming out to the surface, so mountains and volcanoes are formed. One of the most active places on our planet in this sense is called the Pacific Ring of Fire. In Russia, in the Baikal region, there is a dangerous zone at the junction of the Amur and Eurasian plates.
