What are Kings David and Solomon famous for?

King David became famous for his victory over the warrior Goliath. The king was much smaller than Goliath, but he still won. Under David, Jerusalem in the 10th century BC became the capital of the Hebrew state. His son was Solomon. He was very rich and fair. One day two women approached him with a request. One stole the child from another, but did not admit it. The king decided to tear the child apart. One agreed and the other refused. The one who refused was his mother.
