What are savannahs and where are they?

Savanah is a natural area, most often found in the subtropics and tropics. It is not typical for such a climate when the drought season gives way to the rainy season. In summer – heat and dry wind – in winter, humid air with rain. In this case, the life cycles of plants and animals depend on the season. This zone is also characterized by red soils, herbaceous vegetation with free standing trees.
In the African continent, the largest savannah, where it occupies a little less than half of the continent, there are also savannahs in South America and Asia, but there they are smaller. There is also a large shroud area in Australia.
