What are symbiont organisms?

Symbiotes are organisms that, during a segment of existence or throughout life, have a beneficial relationship with representatives of other species. Examples of symbiotic organisms are lichens, which are formed by the interaction of fungi (or bacteria) with unicellular green algae. Man is also a symbiont organism that interacts with many microorganisms that live inside the digestive system. From this symbiosis, microorganisms receive food and help a person to digest complex compounds.
