What are the advantages of warm-blooded animals over cold-blooded ones?

We cannot say that warm-blooded animals are better than cold-blooded ones, since both have their own adaptations that help them survive. Warmblooded animals have some more advanced capabilities. For example, they can live peacefully in the cold season, since their body maintains the temperature and does not allow the cells to freeze. But this requires a lot of energy costs. Cold-blooded people fall into suspended animation during the onset of cold weather. But they don’t expend energy to maintain body temperature.
